I'm a visual artist and writer living in Portland, Maine, and I'm an editor at Portland Magazine. My writing has been featured in multiple literary magazines and anthologies, and my collection of linked stories, The Stones of Riverton, was published by Down East Books in September of 2023. I received my MFA in creative writing from Stonecoast at the University of Southern Maine, and I teach creative writing at Writerfest in New York, The Writing Center in Gloucester Massachusetts, the MWPA, and Maine Media.

My clients vary. Most are working on memoirs, novels, collections, self-help books, or short stories. Editing is one of my favorite parts of the job of writing. I love helping clients polish their work and advising them as we move through the complicated process toward publication.
